A very quick and easy snack with bread can be taken any time. But I prefer breads at the time of breakfast though it does not require much time to plan ahead ;) So I have come up with grilled version where the bread is coated into a besan spiced batter. Very simple, healthy and low fat diet snack :)
INGREDIENTS.
8 Wheat bread or normal bread.
1 Cup Besan.
1/4 Cup rice flour.
1 Green chilly.
1/2 tsp Chilly pd.
1 Onion chopped.
Coriander leaves handful.
Pinch of Hing.
Salt to taste.
Oil for shallow fry.
Water as needed.
METHOD.
Add all the ingredients into a big bowl. Add water and mix thoroughly to form a batter without any lumps. Make sure the consistency must be right ie not so thin or thick. Heat a non stick pan and add enough oil just enough to shallow fry. Take a bread and dip it into the besan batter nicely on both the sides and then place it on pan. Let it cook on a medium heat. Once it gets cooked on one side, flip over and cook the other side. Remove from heat and serve hot hot with ur fav dip.
